Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers Mock Trial Competition
On November 15, 2008, Scott W. Zappolo donated his Saturday to serve as a judge of the 2008 Honorable E. Earle Zehmer Mock Trial Competition, sponsored by the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. Mr. Zappolo, a veteran of mock trial competitions himself says, ”This competition provides an excellent opportunity for students who aspire to trial practice to hone basic skills and learn things that just aren’t taught in law school.”

Watterson Certified by Supreme Court of Florida
Terry Watterson has been certified by the Supreme Court of the State of Florida as a Circuit Court Mediator. He is available immediately to mediate pre-suit and court-ordered mediations. Mr. Watterson will continue his practice in all areas of civil litigation. He is also board certified in City, County & Local Government Law.

Zappolo Spells for Charity
Scott Zappolo - who claims he can’t spell - advanced from the Palm Beach County Bar Association “Bar Bee” to the Bar’s 3-member team which competed in the Great Grownup Spelling Bee, a fund raiser for the Palm Beach County Literacy Coalition. The competition was held on September 18th. Mr. Zappolo met his defeat on a word of Japanese origin, which he still cannot spell (or pronounce). |
